Durham Prayer Breakfast gathered on February 18th, 2020 at the Grant County Senior Center for a lovely breakfast. Our hostesses were Carol Annis and Cheryl Moyer. The devotion was brought by Pastor Kelly Gindlesberger. We would really enjoy seeing more of you if you would like to join us. We signed and sent seven ‘Thinking of You’ cards and one ‘Sympathy’ card. You are invited to our next breakfast which will be on March 17th at 7:00 a.m. at the Grant Co Senior Center. The devotions will be brought by Denise Beard. Our hostesses will be Janice Smith and Esther Walker. Please join us as we gather together to worship the Lord with fellowship and a nice breakfast. A great way to start the day – Praising Our Lord.

Kansas Disciples Women will be publishing a cookbook in 2020 with all cookbook sales going to the Jones Lodge construction fund. This is a fun opportunity for all SW of Kansas to submit your favorite recipes and support Camp Tawakoni at the same time.

Do you have a favorite pot luck dinner recipe? A favorite birthday dinner dish or an old family favorite recipe you would like to share? Do you know someone who has been part of your DW group or your church and moved away? Please be sure to contact them and ask them to participate.

Recipes can be submitted via email to carla.pearson58@gmail.com or by mail to Carla Pearson, 1816 17th Ave, McPherson, KS 67460.

Submit your recipes soon. The deadline for submission is May 2020, but we are ready to start entering recipes now! We anticipate the cookbooks to be available in time for DW Women’s Retreat 2020, if not sooner. Please encourage all women to participation this region-wide project.
